How To Use: Connect hose extend wand. Twist nozzle & spray. Directions For Use: It is a violation of federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. Always read and follow label directions. Where To Use: In flower beds & perennial landscape plants. Around trees & shrubs. On patios, walkways, & driveways, gravel, or mulch beds. Along fences & foundations. Edging around foundations and retaining walls. Where Not To Use: Do not use on or around edible food or feed crops; or where live stock grazing is allowed. How To Assemble And Use Instructions: 1. Remove: Remove wand from side clip. Unsnap holder. Twist left. Pull. Remove protective strip from battery compartment to activate batteries. Pull connector by slightly twisting from side clip and unwrap hose completely. 2. Connect: Insert plug at end of hose into spout or knob on cap. Flip up spout until fully upright or turn knob to ON. Flip up spout must remain up while spraying. 3 Extend: Flip open wand until it clicks and locks into position. 4. Spray: Slide trigger lock on wand handle to the unlocked position. Twist nozzle to desired spray pattern. Point nozzle away from body and hold trigger for continuous spray. Important Use Information: Do not submerge in water. When storing sprayer for long periods, remove batteries. To Replace Batteries: Open battery compartment at bottom of wand. Remove used batteries and replace with new alkaline batteries in correct position as marked inside battery compartment. Securely close battery compartment door. Always use a complete set of the same type when replacing batteries. Best performance is achieved with alkaline batteries. Never mix alkaline, carbon - zinc or rechargeable batteries. Dispose of used batteries according to manufacturer's instructions or in house hold trash. How To Apply: Follow illustrations and / or instructions in the how to assemble and use section to prime the sprayer. Spray the weeds or grasses you want to kill until thoroughly wet. When spot treating weeds around desirable plants, shield plants from drift with a sheet of cardboard or plastic. If desirable plants are sprayed accidentally, rinse off immediately with water. When To Apply: Apply when weeds are actively growing. For best results, apply during warm, sunny weather above 60 degrees F. Spray when air is calm to prevent drift to desirable plants. Rain Proof: Rain or watering 30 minutes after application will not wash away effectiveness. Weeds yellow and wilt within hours with complete kill in 1 to 2 weeks for annual weeds. Perennial weeds such as poison ivy may take 4 or more weeks for complete kill. How To Refill: This container and sprayer can be reused. To refill this empty container, pour product carefully and directly from the Roundup weeds & grass killer container designated as the ready - to - use refill container. Do not add water. Use Roundup weed & grass killer concentrate to refill the container. Add 6.0 fl oz (12 Tbs) of Roundup weed & grass killer concentrate to this empty container then fill with water slowly to avoid foaming. Additional Tips: For Lawn Replacement: Use this product to kill an existing lawn and weeds before planting a new lawn or prior to laying a patio, sidewalk or driveway. If green patches remain after 28 days and the area has not been reseeded, spot treat as necessary/ Wait at least 7 days after last application to rake or till area in preparation for planting seed or sod. For Flowered And Garden Preparation: Use this product to kill weeds, grasses, and brush before planting flowers, trees or shrubs. Wait 1 to 30 days after last application before planting garden. See when to replant section for details. Storage And Disposal: Pesticide Storage: Flip spout down or turn knob on cap to OFF. No need to disconnect sprayer hose from cap. Completely dispense product in sprayer prior to storage. Close nozzle on wand sprayer. Engage trigger lock. Flip the wand closed and place in side clip. Store product in original container in a safe place away from direct sunlight. Keep from freezing. If frozen, allow to thaw and shake well before using. To prevent accidental poisoning, never store this product in food, drink, or unlabeled containers. Pesticide Disposal And Container Handling: Nonrefillable container. Do not reuse or refill this container unless the directions for use allow a different concentrated or ready - to - use product be diluted in or poured directly into the container. Reuse or refill this container according to the directions contained in the how to refill section. If Empty: Place in trash or offer for recycling, if available.
