Directions

New Mixing Directions: 1. In a large mixing bowl add two (2) eggs. 2. Add 1/4 cup cooking oil to eggs - mix together - Do not whip. 3. Add contents of one bag of matzo ball mix to eggs and oil - mix well. 4. Refrigerate for 5 minutes - use wet hands to form to size wanted. 5. Add matzo balls to 2-1/2 quarts of boiling water to which two (2) teaspoons of salt has been added. Cook in a covered pot for 20 minutes on a low flame. Each envelope makes 10 to 12 dumplings or matzo balls. Serving Suggestions: For a delicious side dish prepare dumplings or matzo balls as directed. Remove dumplings or matzo balls from boiling water and let stand until cool. Then deep fry or pan fry until golden brown. Serve piping hot. Remove dumplings or matzo balls from boiling water and add to stew or chicken soup.
