Cook thoroughly. Keep frozen. Get things cookin': For best quality and food safety, follow these preparation instructions: Keep frozen until ready to use. Cook thoroughly before eating. Use caution as product will be hot! Follow cooking instructions to ensure product reaches 165 degrees F, as measured by a food thermometer. Adjustment to cooking times may be required due to variations in all microwave ovens. Check that product is cooked thoroughly. Internal temperature needs to reach 165 degrees F as measured by a food thermometer. The following cook preparations were developed using a 1200 watt microwave oven. Microwave: 1. Remove & slide: Remove one frozen quesadilla and slide into crisping sleeve, curved edge of the quesadilla under opening tab. 2. Place & microwave on high: Place quesadilla on a microwave safe plate with the opening tab facing up. Microwave on high for 2 minutes. 3. Cool & pull opening tab: Allow quesadilla to stand for 1-2 minutes. Pull tab to remove quesadilla. Confirm product's internal temperature is at 165 degrees F. Skillet: Use caution when preheating oil on stove top. Always preheat oil uncovered. If oil spatters, cover immediately and reduce heat. When spattering stops, remove cover and return to cooking temperature. Be careful not to spatter or spill oil onto hot burner or range. 1) Remove one frozen quesadilla from package. 2) Defrost quesadilla: place quesadilla on microwave safe plate. 3) Microwave on high power for 1 minute and 10 seconds. 4) Place 1/2 teaspoon of butter, margarine or vegetable oil in skillet. 5) Preheat skillet to medium on stove top. 6) Add quesadilla and cook each side for 2 minutes. 7) Allow quesadilla to stand for 1-2 minutes before serving. Confirm product's internal temperature is at 165 degrees F.
