When we decided to brew a light beer we wanted to do it our way. We started from scratch instead of making a 'light' version of another beer. It took us 2 years. To get it just right but the result was worth it. An amber beer with a rounded sweetness, subtle hop character, & clean smooth finish. Cheers! We approached making this beer a bit differently, creating a unique brew with a crisp, smooth finish and unparalleled flavor in a light beer. Smooth, roasted maltiness perfectly balanced by subtle citrus fruit notes of Noble hops & a crisp, light finish. Color: Light amber. Our mission is simple: Many small business owners are working hard to start or grow their food or beverage business, but can't find the funding or advice they need to succeed. Our founder Jim Koch faced the same challenges when he started brewing Samuel Adams Boston Lager® in 1984. With our nonprofit partner Accion, we make micro-loans and offer real world business advice to help these small business owners realize their dreams. As loans are repaid, they're recycled back into the fund.
