Before first time use: Unscrew lid take filter out. Remove plastic overwrap from filter. Place filter into bottle. Fill with tap water and attach lid. Squeeze over sink to flush the filter. Refill and refresh! Keep it fresh! Place your bottle and lid on your dishwasher's top rack or gently hand wash. Clean your filter by rinsing it in hot water. Only use with drinkable water; doesn't filter out microbes.
