Directions

Add pasta and stir; return to a rapid boil. Cook uncovered, stirring frequently, 7 to 9 minutes or until desired tenderness. Immediately drain in colander and use as desired. Perfect pasta guide: Servings - 2. Pasta - 1/3 box. Water - 2 quarts. Salt - 1 tsp. Servings - 3. Pasta - 1/2 box. Water - 4 quarts. Salt - 2 tsp. Servings - 6. Pasta - full box. Water - 6 quarts. Salt - 1 tbsp. Al dente: 7 min. Firm: 8 min. Tender: 9 min. Maintaining perfect pasta. To keep cooked pasta fresh for later use, toss with a small amount of olive oil or sauce, and refrigerate.
