Jump start in 4 easy steps. 1 Connect red to dead battery. Connect the red clamp to the (+) terminal of the dead battery. 2 Connect red to booster battery. Connect the other red clamp to the (+) terminal of the booster battery. 3 Connect black to booster battery. Connect the black clamp to the (-) terminal of the booster battery. 4 Ground & start the vehicle. Connect the remaining black damp to an unpainted metal surface on the disabled vehide. Start the engine.
