Cleaning (Tip: Use a gun cleaning mat to catch debris). Safety first! Check to ensure your firearm is unloaded. If needed, refer to your firearm owner's manual for disassembly instructions. Bore Cleaning: 1. Assemble cleaning rod. 2. Attach jag and push a patch over the pierce point. Be sure to pierce the center of the patch (make sure patch is not too snug in barrel - trim to fit or double up if needed). Saturate with FP-10 Lubricant Elite CLP and push through barrel. 3. Attach bore brush and run through barrel several times to loosen caked fouling. 4. Reattach jag with clean saturated patch and run through barrel. 5. To finish, push a dry patch through bore to remove remaining solvent. Receiver/Action Cleaning: Clean receiver and action parts with an all purpose brush and FP-10 lubricant elite CLP to remove powder fouling, dirt and surface rust. Lubricating: Apply a thin layer of FP-10 Lubricant Elite CLP to all moving parts to provide lubrication. Protecting: Apply FP-10 Lubricant Elite CLP to all metal surfaces to protect against corrosion. Saturate mop and coat the entire length of barrel.
