There's no added sugar in Kendakids none. The carbohydrate (aka sugar) you're seeing comes from lactose - the natural sugar in milk! We get it, labels can be confusing. We could've used a carbohydrate like maltodextrin, which doesn't appear as a sugar on the label but has been shown to raise blood sugar more than lactose - but that's not our style. And sure, it's not exactly apples-to-apples, but fun fact: the average apple has around 25 g of carbohydrates, 19 g of which are sugars.
