Wall Cup Installation:1. Unfasten binding posts with screwdriver. Save binding posts for step 6. 2. Partially unwind tension bolts, attach the wall cups to the tension bolts, and extend the gate to the opposite wall. 3. With a pencil, trace the entire outline of each wall cup directly onto the wall, then remove the wall cups. Hardware mount installation only. 4. Mark drill holes with a pencil through the center of each wall cup. Note: Skip next step if mounting directly into wood. Drill a 7/32 inch pilot hole into each of the 4 center marks. Insert wall anchors into pilot holes. Align the wall cups so the center hole is placed directly over the wall anchor. Stick the wall cups to the wall. Screw wall cups into wall. Proceed to step 6. Pressure mount installation only. 5. Remove backing from one side of each adhesive mounting pad. Attach one pad to the back of each wall cup. Remove backing and place on wall over the traced outline. Press and hold for a few seconds. 6. Once the gate is extended fully, adjust gate panels so the holes line up on the top and bottom of the gate. Screw the binding posts at the top and bottom of the gate closest to the center. Adjust tension bolts to align with detail on the wall cup. 7. Align and install gate into wall cups. 8. To remove gate from opening, depress locking tab on upper wall cups. With locking tabs depressed; lift gate out of opening. Note: Tension bolts will extend slightly. This is normal, no adjustment is needed before reinstalling gate. Maintenance: Check all hardware to ensure gate is securely in place. Do not use gate if any of the components are damaged or missing. Surface clean with a damp cloth or sponge, using mild detergent and warm water to clean. Towel dry.
