Directions

Stove top: 1. In a medium saucepan, bring 6 cups of water to a rapid boil. 2. Stir in rings and boil uncovered for about 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Drain and rinse rings in a colander. 3. Meanwhile, add 3 tablespoons milk, 3 tablespoons unsalted butter and contents of cheese packet to saucepan and stir until cheese has dissolved. Add drained rings, stir well to coat and serve. Microwave: 1. In a 2-quart microwaveable dish, add 1 1/2 cups hot water. Stir in rings. 2. Microwave on high for 7-9 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes until no water remains. Do not overcook. Remove from microwave. Stir in 3 tablespoons butter. Add cheese packet and 4 tablespoons milk. Blend all ingredients together. 3. Mix until rings are well coated and serve. Makes 2 cups.
