Mario Batali Pasta Farfalle

Directions

Store in a cool, dry place. Farfalle coking time 10-12 minutes. For best results: 1) Bring 6 quarts of water to a boil for each 1 lb. of pasta. (Add salt to taste.) 2) When water comes to a full boil, add pasta. 3) For true 'al dente' pasta, cook for 10 minutes; stir occasionally. For more tender pasta, cook an additional minute or two. 4) While pasta is cooking, heat sauce in a large saute pan for about 5 minutes on low heat. 5) Drain pasta well, then add pasta to the saute pan; gently pan toss for about one minute. 6) Serve and enjoy.
