Place 1 cup of sorrel and 1/4 ounce of beaten ginger in a container. Pour 4 cups of boiling water over sorrel and ginger. Cover mixture and let it steep for 4 hours. Sweeten to taste with sugar or honey and serve as a cold refreshing drink.
