Haloa - The First Hawaiian: Hawaiians believe they are descendants of the taro or kalo plant. Thus, taro is life. The effective ingredient is the kale'ai which is made from taro. The Hawaiians have been using kale'ai for generations to protect the keiki (children) from mosquitoes, insects and ultraviolet rays as they work in the taro patches. Citronella and essential oil sprays evaporate due to their volatile nature and required reapplication. Our lotion is made from refined tree nuts, leaves ans seeds ground into butter and oils ans then emulsified with the kale'ai.Ingredients
