Instructions for operating Skinny Snake Drum Auger. 1. Loosen thumbscrew by turning it in a counter clockwise direction and feed the end of the cable into the drain. 2. Gradually continue feeding the cable till a clog is reached. 3. Now tighten the thumbscrew by turning it in a clockwise direction till the cable (or) wire is locked in place. This prevents the cable from slipping from the housing. 4. Hold the curved neck portion (Moderate grip, not too tight) of Skinny Snake drum auger with one hand and with the other hold the ribs on the bottom. End of the housing. 5. Slowly rotate the housing in a clockwise direction using the ribs, this allows the auger to bore through and break the clog. 6. Once clog is cleared loosen the thumbscrew by turning it in a counter clockwise direction. 7. Remove the cable from the drain. 8. Open the tap and flush the drain with water. Repeat process if necessary. 9. Wash the cable, air dry and apply grease (or) oil before storing. 10. Make sure to tighten thumbscrew after reinserting cable in the housing before storage.
