Family owned and operated. Kellerweis is one of the only American Hefeweizens made using the traditional Bavarian style of open fermentation. This difficult and labor intensive technique adds uncommon depth and flavor complexity. Our hazy-golden hefeweizen is deeply flavorful, refreshing and perfect for a sunny day. Kellerweis is one of the few wheat beers made using the traditional Bavarian method of open fermentation, which allows the ingredients to shine and creates vast depth and character in this hazy-golden beer. Our Bavarian-style wheat beer is complex with flavors reminiscent of banana bread and spicy clove. This hazy-golden beer glows with suspended yeast, creating a velvety texture and refreshing finish. We brew in Chico, CA, and Mills River, NC, to bring you the finest quality beer. Its unique pine and grapefruit aromas from the use of whole-cone American hops make it complex, exciting, all-natural, and refreshingly bold. Torpedo®: Our year-round hop bomb is named for our "Hop Torpedo," a revolutionary dry-hopping device that intensifies whole-cone hop aroma without adding bitterness. Torpedo' Extra IPA is an aggressive yet balanced beer with massive hop aromas of citrus, pine, and tropical fruit. Hop Hunter® IPA: Steam distilled hop oil, gathered right in the hop fields, gives a mighty boost to the floral and citrus notes of traditional whole-cone hops for intense, unmatched IPA aromatics. Porter: Porters were originally a fortifying drink for London's tough working class. We salute those workers with our classic Porter, brewed in the hop-forward American style and featuring a depth of malt flavor with roasted notes of black coffee and cocoa. Stout: When the brewery was first starting, we needed to brew a big beer to test the system in our fledgling brewhouse. A roasty stout was the obvious choice.
