Suggested cook time on 50% power: 2:15 - 2:30. Approximate microwave wattage - 1100w. Suggested cook time on 50% power: 2:30 - 3:00. Approximate microwave wattage - 900w. To open, press on the center of this panel and pull up, then tear off flap. Microwave preparation recommended. Follow these steps for the perfect start to your day. 1. Empty packet into a deep microwave-safe bowl. 2. Add up to 2/3 cup of water. Stir. Oatmeal must be prepared with water*. 3. Adjust microwave setting to 50% power. 4. Microwave for 21/2 to 3 minutes**. Caution: Bowl will be hot. 5. Stir well and wait 2 to 3 minutes for oatmeal to thicken before serving. *To avoid boil over, refrain from adding milk until after cooking. **Instructions are based on 1100 watt microwave oven. Additional cook time required for lower wattage microwaves. See side panel. Alternative stove top preparation. 1. Boil up to 1 cup of water in a small saucepan. 2. Stir in contents of pouch, and reduce heat to medium. 3. Simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally, for 3-4 minutes. 4. Remove oatmeal from saucepan, allowing 2-3 minutes to cool and thicken.
