Do not use this product until you read and understand all warnings and instructions. Failure to follow warnings or instructions may result in personal injury, property damage or product failure. For use in household sinks, showers and tub drains only. Do not use in toilets. 1. Before use in a sink, if necessary, remove trap to access pipe. Before use in a shower or tub drain, if necessary, remove overflow plate and stopper assembly. 2. Uncoil Power Snake and attach drill to clutch, leaving 1/8 inch between end of clutch and drill chuck. Ensure drill is securely fastened to the end of the clutch. 3. One person should gradually feed plastic tube at drain, while another operates the drill. 4. Feed cable into drain until clog is reached. Keep power snake straight to prevent wire from bending or kinking. Run drill in short bursts of 10 to 15 seconds until clog is cleared. 5. Remove cable from the drain and flush drain with water. Repeat process if necessary. 6. Wash the cable end, air dry and apply grease or oil before storing.
