Remove before use. Place log wick-up and centered on level, dry, nonporous base surface in a fireplace, wood stove, fire pit or other suitable nonflammable receptacle. Make sure the area is well ventilated and free of combustible materials. Have water and/or a working fire extinguisher available for immediate use before lighting paper board wick and allowing log to burn down naturally without moving or poking.
