Product Details
Andrea Bottega, our 'forefather' began as a tenant grape farmer in 1635. He later cultivated vines in the hills near Molinetto della Croda in Refrontolo, where his work would lead to generations of Bottega winemakers. In 1977, Aldo Bottega established a winery and distillery in the Treviso province continuing an over 300-year family tradition. Today, the Bottega wine family has grown to include the production of world-renowned sparkling and still wines, grappa and spirits from Italy's best terroirs. Amarone DOCG is the noblest red wine of the Valpolicella region. Its inimitable personality, charm, and traditional, yet modern characteristics has solidified its standing as the patriarch of aged wine. Bottega Amarone reveals an intense bouquet of mature red fruits; cherry, blackcurrants and plum with hints of chocolate and nutmeg. Tannins and acidity are in perfect balance. Its full, round, warm and robust structure is persistent on the palate. The perfect compliment to roasts, stews, cured meals and mature cheeses. www.palmbay.com. Greener: A green company.
