Morey's Wild Salmon Sweet Bourbon

Directions

Keep frozen. For Your Eating Enjoyment, Please Follow These Easy Cooking Instructions and Tips: Fish can be prepared thawed or frozen, but thawing fish is preferable. The optimal thawing method is to remove fish from the easy-peel pouch, cover, and refrigerate overnight. To quick thaw, place clear pouch in cold water for 20 to 30 minutes. Cook fish immediately once thawed. Skin is left on for added moisture and ease of cooking but can be easily removed with a spatula before serving. For bolder flavor, pour all of the marinade in pouch over fillet before cooking. Fish thickness may affect cooking time. Thoroughly cooked fish will reach an internal temperature of 145 degrees F and flake with a fork. Do not overlap fillets during cooking as this will cause them to cook unevenly. Morey's fish has been boned for your convenience. As with all fish, there is the potential to find small bones. Due to variances in appliances, cooking times listed are approximate. Bake: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Remove fillet from pouch and place skin side down in foil-lined baking pan. Thawed: Bake 15 - 18 minutes in center of oven. Frozen: Bake 28 - 32 minutes in center of oven. Grill: Preheat grill to med-high (350 degrees F - 375 degrees F). Spray aluminum foil lightly with cooking oil then place on preheated grill. Remove fillet from pouch and place skin side down on foil. Thawed: Grill 10 - 15 minutes. Frozen: Grill 20 - 25 minutes. Microwave: Remove fillet from pouch and place skin side down in microwave-safe dish. Cover dish loosely with paper towel. Additional cooking time is needed when cooking 2 fillets. Testing done in 1100 watt oven. Thawed: Microwave on high 2 - 3 minutes. Let stand in microwave 2 minutes, then carefully remove. Frozen: Microwave on high 3 - 4 minutes. Let stand in microwave 2 minutes, then carefully remove. Use caution as product is hot. Handling: Keep frozen until thawing for use.
