Keep frozen. Cooking instructions: Microwave (1,100 watt microwave): Setting: high. Leave plastic film on tamale. Place tamale on microwaveable safe plate. Frozen: 2 minutes. Let tamale cool for 1 minute before eating. Steamer: Bring water to boil in a steamer with a drain rack. Place desired amount of tamales in steamer. Do not pack tamales too tight. Cover and steam on medium heat until core temperature is 165 degrees F. Frozen: 1 hour, 15 minutes. Let tamale cool for 1 minute before eating. For food safety and quality, internal product temperature must reach 161 degrees F. Since ovens vary, cooking times may require adjusting. Caution: product may be hot.
