Water*: 1 cup. Oats: 1/2 cup. Salt (Optional): 1/8 tsp. Stove Top. Servings: 1. Water*: 1 cup. Oats: 1/2 cup. Salt (Optional): 1/8 tsp. Servings: 2. Water*: 1 3/4 cups. Oats: 1 cup. Salt (Optional): 1/4 tsp. Servings: 6. Water*: 5 3/4 cups. Oats: 3 cups. Salt (Optional): 3/4 tsp. Microwave Directions: 1. Combine water, oats and salt in a 2-cup microwave-safe bowl. 2. Microwave on high 1 1/2 to 2 minutes. 3. Remove from oven; mix well. Stove top directions: 1. Bring water and salt to a rolling boil. 2. Add oats; reduce to medium heat and cook 1 minute, stirring occasionally. 3. Cover; remove from heat and serve in 2-3 minutes. *Use less water for thicker oatmeal or more water for thinner oatmeal. **Due to differences in microwave ovens, cooking time is approximate.
