Ahold Broccoli Florets



Cooking directions: Simmer: for each 8 ounces (approximately 1/2 bag) of Broccoli florets, bring 1/2 cup water to a boil. Add vegetables and bring to a second boil. Reduce heat and cover. Simmer 6 to 8 minutes, until just tender. Do not overcook. Drain. Season to taste. Steam: pour 8 ounces (approximately 1/2 bag) of Broccoli florets in vegetable steamer and place over boiling water. Cover and steam 8 to 10 minutes, until just tender. Season to taste. Microwave ovens: pour Broccoli florets in microwave-safe dish; 1-quart size for 1/2 bag, 2-quart size for whole bag. Add water and cover. Microwave on high as directed on chart. Season to taste. Servings 2 large, Amount 8oz, Water 1/8 cup, Cooking Time 4 minutes - stir and continue to cook 3 to 4 minutes.
