Directions

Cooking directions: Stove top: Step 1- in a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of Krasdale jasmine rice with 2 cups of water. Step 2 - bring contents to a boil on medium-high heat uncovered. Step 3 - reduce heat, cover, and let simmer for 18-20 minutes or until water is absorbed. Step 4 - remove from heat and let stand covered for 10 minutes before serving. Rice cooker: Use the same water-rice ratios as for the stove top instructions. Microwave (cook times may vary due to differences in microwaves). Step 1 - in a 2 quart microwave safe dish, combine 1 cup of Krasdale jasmine rice with 2 cups of water. Step 2 - cover and microwave on high 5 minutes. Step 3 - without removing cover, cook for an additional 15 minutes at half-power. Step 4 - remove from microwave and let stand covered for 5 minutes before serving.
