Directions

Store in cool dry place in air tight container. Cooking instructions: Fluffy and flavorful, our organic rice is a versatile addition to any meal. Sort, remove any foreign materials and rinse rice before cooking. Stove top: measure 2 cups of water into a saucepan with a tight fitting lid and bring to a boil. Add 1 tbsp. of organic butter or olive oil and 1 tsp. salt, if desired. Stir in 1 cup of organic white rice. Cover saucepan, lower heat and simmer for 20 minutes until the rice is tender and the water is absorbed. Remove from heat and rest for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork and serve. Microwave: combine 1 cup of organic white rice, 2 1/2 cups of water, 1 tbsp. of organic butter or olive oil and 1 tsp. salt, if desired, into a 2 quart microwave safe dish with a tight fitting lid. Cover and microwave on high (100%) power for 5 minutes. Carefully pull back lid and stir gently. Lid, bowl, and steam will be extremely hot! Cover bowl and reduce power to medium (50%) and continue cooking for 20 minutes until the rice is tender and the water is absorbed. Let rice rest for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork and serve. For firmer rice use less water. For softer rice use more water.
