Ahold Asian Pork Stir Fry Meal Kit


 

Directions

Tools Needed: 1 Cutting Board. 1 Chef Knife. 1 Pair of Tongs. Grater. Peeler. 1 Large Sized Saute Pan. 1 Medium Sized Saucepan. Prep: 1. Thoroughly wash and dry whole produce. 2. Garlic - Finely chop. 3. Ginger - Peel and finely grate. 4. White Onion - Cut in half and peel outer layer off. Cut into 3/8" slices from root end to top end. 5. Pork - Slice into 1/2-3/4" pieces. Cooking Instructions: 1. Heat saute pan on medium-high heat. Pat pork slices with a paper towel. 2. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a pan and add pork. Cook, stirring frequently, until the sliced pork is browned on all sides, about 5 minutes. 3. In a medium saucepan add the bag of rice and 1 quart of water. Bring to a boil and cook uncovered for 10 minutes. 4. Remove the pork from the pan and set aside 5. Add the onions and carrots to the pan and saute for 4 minutes. 6. Add the garlic and ginger to the onions and carrots in the pan. Saute for 1 minutes or until fragrant. 7. Add the kale to the pan and saute until the leaves start to wilt. 8. Return the pork and add the soy sauce with 1/3 cup of water to the pan. 9. Stirring frequently, cook for an additional 3-4 minutes or until the internal temperature of the pork reaches 165* F. 10. Using a pair of tongs, remove the bag of rice from the water and allow to drain. 11. Cut open the bag and pour the hot rice into a serving dish. Season as desired. 12. Plate and serve.
