Cooking directions: 1. Bring one gallon of water to a boil. 2. If desired, add one tablespoon of salt to boiling water. 3. To cook "al dente"*, place fettuccine into boiling water and stir occasionally for seven (7) minutes. 4. Drain in a colander. Do not rinse! Serve immediately with your favorite sauce. *The words "al dente" are an Italian term that deseribes firmly cooked pasta.
