Just follow these steps for a juicy, flavorful turkey breast everyone's going to remember. Preparation: This turkey breast is brined for your convenience. For additional brining, reduce the salt in your recipe by half. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Remove refrigerated turkey breast from bag. You're now ready to cook your turkey breast. Roasting: Place turkey breast, breast-side up, on a roasting rack inside a shallow roasting pan. Roasting continued: Brush turkey breast with vegetable oil or spray with cooking spray and season as desired. Add one cup of water to the bottom of the roasting pan. This helps keep the turkey breast moist while still allowing browning. Roast at 350 degrees F according to the chart below. If breast is golden-brown before fully cooked, cover with a loose tent of aluminum foil to prevent over-browning. Cut a hole in the foil to view the pop-up timer. Turkey breast is done when the pop-up timer has popped and a meat thermometer, not touching any bone, registers at least 165 degrees F in the deepest part of the breast. Remove from oven and allow the cooked breast to stand for 20 to 30 minutes. This allows the juices to settle and makes carving easier. Other cooking methods & additional tips: We recommend conventional oven roasting, but your fresh Shady Brook Farms® turkey breast is also delicious when grilled or roasted in a slow cooker.
