Directions

General directions for cooking: Cook 8 ounces of this package in 4 quarts of rapidly boiling (salted if desired) water, in an uncovered pot 8 to 10 minutes or until desired tenderness is reached. Drain and serve. Cook noodles no more than 6 to 8 minutes if they are to be cooked again in soups or casseroles. Serve nutritious egg noodles with your favorite stew or goulash. Buttered egg noodles can be sprinkled with chopped chives, toasted bread crumbs or poppy seeds to make an interesting side dish. Wide noodles are a welcome addition to your favorite soups.
