Dosage: 1 ounce treats 2.5 gallons. For use at every fill up, use 1 ounce in 5 gallons. Directions: to measure small quantities: remove small cap & seal, squeeze bottle to desired level and pour. To measure large quantities: remove large cap & seal, pour (measurements on bottle side). For best results, treat fuel promptly when purchased. For extended storage (up to two years) use double the recommended dosage. Pour carefully, wipe up spills promptly. Prior to storage, run engine for 5 minutes to treat entire fuel system. Sta-Bil can be used for up to two years after opening bottle. Does not contain alcohol.

Ethanol attracts water from the air, which causes corrosion to fuel tanks, fuel lines, carburetors and injectors. Pumped gasoline starts to degrade immediately. Adding Sta-Bil keeps fuel fresh for 12 months - it more than doubles the storage life of fresh gasoline. Plus it contains a fuel injector and carburetor cleaner to prevent deposit build-up and maintain engine performance. Sta-Bil eliminates the need to drain fuel prior to storage.
