Directions: Mix 1 cup boiling water with gelatin. Stir until dissolved, about 3 minutes. Add 1 cup cold water. Chill until firm. To Add: Other ingredients: Fold in drained cooked or raw fruit or vegetables (3/4 to 1-1/2 cups). Fresh or frozen pineapple or kiwi fruit must be cooked before adding. Chill until firm. Quickset: Completely dissolve gelatin in 1 cup boiling water. Add 2 cups ice cubes, stir until gelatin starts to thicken, about 3 minutes. Remove unmelted ice. Chill. Soft set and ready to eat in 30 minutes. To Mold: Gelatin - do not use ice cubes. Decrease cold water to 3/4 cup. Chill in mold until firm. Dip just to rim in warm water. Shake to loosen. Top with wet plate, invert plate and mold together, remove mold. Fun Gels: Add 2-1/2 cups boiling water to 4 packages of gelatin. Dissolve gelatin completely. Pour into 9x13 inch pan, chill until firm about 3 hours. Dip pan in warm water about 15 seconds. Cut into squares or with a cookie cutter into shapes. Lift out of pan.
