Time: Prep Time: 5 minutes. Cooking Time: 15 minutes. Ingredients: 1 pkg. Sauer's Spaghetti Sauce Mix. 1 (6 oz) can Tomato paste. 1-1/2 cups Water. 1 tbsp. Oil or butter (optional). Directions: 1. Combine sauce mix, water, tomato paste and oil in a medium saucepan. 2. Bring to a boil; cover. 3. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Makes 5 servings. Variations: Use 1 can (8 oz) Tomato sauce in place of tomato paste and reduce water to 1 cup. For a chunky Spaghetti Sauce, mix 2 cans (14-1/2 oz each) diced tomatoes, 1 tbsp. olive oil, and 2 tbsp. red wine vinegar or balsamic vinegar with sauce mix in saucepan. Cook as directed above.
