Total Time: 10 minutes. Makes 2 cups. You Will Need: 1 pkg. Mccormick Gravy Mix; 2 cups milk. Stovetop Directions: 1. Stir milk gradually into gravy mix with whisk in 2-quart saucepan. 2. Cook on medium heat just until gravy comes to boil. Stir frequently to avoid burning gravy in bottom of pan. Stirring constantly, reduce heat to low and simmer 1 minute. Microwave Directions: 1. Stir milk into gravy mix in 2-quart microwavable bowl. 2. Microwave, uncovered, on high 4 to 6 minutes or until thickened, stirring after each minute. Microwave ovens vary; cook time is approximate. Must be cooked for food safety. Kitchen Tips: Serve gravy over biscuits, chicken fried steak, fried chicken, sausage, ham or home fries. Sausage, Peppers and Onion Country Gravy: Stir 2 tbsp. each sauteed finely chopped red and green bell pepper and onion into prepared gravy. Meat Lovers Country Gravy: Stir 3 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled, and 1/4 cup finely chopped ham into prepared gravy.
