Aaron's Best Young Chicken

Directions

Keep refrigerated or frozen. Cooking suggestions: Roasting: If frozen, first thaw whole chicken in refrigerator. Rinse thawed chicken with cool water. Place chicken on roasting rack. Place in middle of very hot oven (450-500 degrees). Cooking at high temperatures helps keep the chicken moist inside while the skin becomes crispy. Generally, allow about 10-15 minutes per pound or until minimum internal temperature of 170 degrees F is reached at the thickest part of the chicken. Juices should run clear. Best if chicken is allowed to rest 15 minutes before carving.
