We first created Celebration IPA in the winter of 1981, in the time-honored tradition of brewing a special ale for the holiday season. Each year we use only the first fresh hops of the growing season to create this complex and robust ale. Layered pine and citrus hop aromas balance delicately against rich, malt sweetness to create an uncommonly smooth wintertime ale. Seasonal beers: Beer Camp® - Spring seasonal: We bring beer fans into our brewery nearly every week to create their own beer. Each spring one of these small-batch Beer Camp® collaborations will have an encore. Summerfest® - crisp lager: Summerfest® is a Czech-style lager featuring a slight malt sweetness, a spicy hop flavor, and the crisp finish you want on a warm summer day. Oktoberfest - festival lager: Nothing marks the start of fall like the release of an Oktoberfest beer. Each year we're collaborating with a different German brewer to create a new twist on this classic festival staple. Celebration® - fresh hop IPA: A special ale for the holidays, Celebration® IPA features the first hops of the growing season. This pioneering ale is full of complex flavors and aromas from the generous use of whole-cone American hops. Your-round beers: Pale ale: Pale Ale began as a homebrewer's dream and grew into a craft brewing icon. Its unique pine and grapefruit aromas from the use of whole-cone American hops make it complex, exciting, all-natural, and refreshingly bold. Torpedo®: Our year-round hop bomb is named for our "Hop Torpedo," a revolutionary dry-hopping device that intensifies whole-cone hop aroma without adding bitterness. Torpedo® extra IPA is an aggressive yet balanced beer with massive hop aromas of citrus, pine, and tropical fruit. Hop Hunter® IPA: Steam distilled hop oil, gathered right in the hop fields, gives a mighty boost to the floral and citrus notes of traditional whole-cone hops for intense, unmatched IPA aromatics. Nooner® pilsner: German-style pilsners are the original session beers. Nooner® is our version of this classic style, loaded with floral and spicy hop flavor and balanced by a crisp and dry finish. Kellerweis®: Inspired by traditional Bavarian techniques, Kellerweis® is brewed in open fermentation tanks to let the ingredients shine. The result is a hazy wheat ale-untamed, raw, and alive-with a fruity aroma and notes of spicy clove and banana bread. Porter: Porters were originally a fortifying drink for London's tough working class. We salute those workers with our classic Porter, brewed in the hop-forward American style and featuring a depth of malt flavor with roasted notes of black coffee and cocoa. Stout: When the brewery was first starting, we needed to brew a big beer to test the system in our fledgling brewhouse. A roasty stout was the obvious choice.
