All You Need: 1 pkg Durkee Spaghetti Sauce Mix; 1-3/4 cups water; 1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste. All You Do: 1. Combine mix, water and paste. Stir. 2. Bring to a boil; stirring constantly. 3. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Microwave: 1. Combine mix, water and tomato paste in 2-quart microwave-safe casserole; stir until blended. 2. Microwave, loosely covered, on high (100%) 6 to 8 minutes; stir halfway through cooking. Stir before serving. Note: Microwave cooking times may vary. Makes 2-1/2 cups. Variations: Reduce water to 1/4cup and stir in 1 can (14.5 oz) whole tomatoes, cut up. Meat Sauce: Add 8 oz. lean ground beef, cooked and drained.
