Read and follow cooking instructions as a product must reach a minimum of 170 degrees F (77 degrees Celsius) internal temperature as measured by a food thermometer in several spots. Appliances vary. Adjust cooking times as needed. Stovetop: (1) Place half bag of frozen potatoes in saucepan. Add 1/4 cup of water; cover. (2) Cook on medium heat for 9-11 minutes, stirring occasionally. (3) Let stand 1 minute. Stir before serving. Microwave oven (half bag): (1 ) Pour half bag of potatoes into a microwave safe dish. Add 1/4 cup of water; cover. (2) Cook on high for 4 minutes. (3) Mash and stir potatoes and replace cover. (4) Cook on high for 4 minutes. Let stand 1 minute. Stir before serving. Microwave oven (Two serving): (1) Place 16 potato pieces into a microwave safe dish. Add 2 tablespoons of water; cover. (2) Cook on high for 3 minutes. (3) Mash and stir potatoes and replace cover. (4) Cook on high for 3 minutes. Let stand 1 minute. Stir before serving. Keep frozen.
