Hurst's Garlic & Herb Lentils: You Will Need: 15.5 ounces hurst lentils; 8 cups of water; 2 tbsp. of olive oil contents of seasoning packet. Cooking Instructions: 1. Rinse lentils in a strainer. 2. Place lentils in a three quart saucepan, add water, oil and contents of seasoning packet. 3. Bring to a boil over high heat, cover and simmer on low heat for 30 to 35 minutes. 4. Ladle lentils as a soup or use a slotted spoon to serve lentils as a side dish.
