How to use. Set up. 1. Pour a 2 inch depth of pretty litter into a clean litter box. You won't need the whole bag. Note: avoid placing your cat's box in humid areas like bathrooms or laundry rooms for maximum odor control. Low-touch use. 2. Just scoop the poop! Urine will be wicked away by odor-locking crystals, no extra scooping needed. 3. Stir daily to expose fresh, odor-locking crystals and to avoid saturating the same spots in the litter box. Note: pretty litter will naturally turn a soft golden over the course of use. Don't worry! That's the litter working. Rest assured the unpleasant parts of your cat's waste have been trapped inside the microscopic pores of prettylitter, safely away from your cat's paws. When to change. 4. Refresh after 30 whole days (or when more urine cannot be absorbed). Dump the entire litter box contents. Thoroughly clean the litter box with mild detergent and water. Rinse and dry thoroughly before pouring a new 2 inch depth of prettylitter. Easy Transition Most cats take to PrettyLitter right away, but some cats require a few days to transition to any new litter.
