Shake Well. Operating Instructions for Accushot Sprayer 1. Shake well before use. 2. Remove sprayer from side holster. Unwrap the tubing. Gently pull tubing out. 3. Open flip-top closure. 4. Securely snap the hose plug into opening in cap until it snaps into place. 5. Slide switch on hose plug counterclockwise to "open." 6. Remove plastic tab near bottom of sprayer to activate batteries. 7. Twist nozzle to adjust spray from close to spray or stream. 8. When priming the sprayer, hold sprayer level to the ground. Squeeze and hold trigger until liquid comes out the nozzle. Sprayer may not prime if it is held at an angle. Once primed, it will spray in any direction. How to Use The Accushot Sprayer: 1. Aim toward target site, and away from people and pets. 2. To improve accuracy, use slider to extend wand. 3. Press the trigger to spray. 4. Release the trigger to stop spray. After use: 1. Twist nozzle completely to close position. 2. Turn hose plug switch clockwise to "closed." 3. Secure sprayer tip down in holster. 4. Failure to adjust nozzle completely to close position and properly secure sprayer in holster may result in leakage and damage to property or injury to people or animals. Keep reusable accushot sprayer for use with Spectracide One-Shot weed & grass killer, to replace batteries: 1. Use screwdriver to open battery compartment. 2. Remove used batteries and insert four new aa batteries in correct positions as marked per diagram inside of battery compartment. Never insert the positive end where the negative end belongs and vice versa. Always use a complete set of new batteries of the same type when replacing batteries. Never mix alkaline, carbon-zinc or rechargeable batteries. 3. Securely close battery compartment door. 4. Always follow manufacturer's specifications for use and disposal of batteries. Kills: Kills weeds and prevents plant growth for up to 5 months. Where to use: Use on driveways, gravel areas, patios, parking areas, brick walks, gravel walks, fence lines, curbs, rock landscapes, mulch areas and cracks in sidewalks. Apply to locations only where no vegetation growth is desired for up to 1 year. When to use: Apply when weeds are present. Treat area uniformly to maximize results. Important: Use only where no vegetation growth is desired for at least one year. In soils with heavy clay, weed control may exceed one year. Re-treatment every three months may be necessary in areas of heavy rainfall. Does not kill all seeds, woody and semi-woody plants, and propagules in the soil, including tubers and rhizomes. Directions for Use: It is a violation of federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. Stop, read entire label before use. Pets and people may re-enter treated area once sprays have dried. Application Restrictions: Do not apply this product in a way that will contact any person or pet, either directly or through drift. Keep people and pets out of the area during application. Apply on a sunny day with temperatures above 60 degrees F. Do not apply to or allow product to drift onto desirable plants, only apply to areas where no vegetation is desired for one year. Avoid product runoff to nearby desirable plants. Protect desirable plants with a piece of plastic or cardboard. If desirable plants are accidentally sprayed, wash plants with water immediately. Do not apply near bodies of water, including fish pools, ponds, lakes or streams. Do not apply over the root systems of desirable plants. For trees and shrubs, do not apply closer than twice the distance from the trunk to the dripline, as roots may be within this area. Do not apply to slopes in landscape, as movement on soil surfaces may damage desirable plants downslope. Do not apply next to a fence if desirable vegetation is growing on the other side, or if future planting is intended. Do not use before planting lawns, fruits, vegetables, flowers or other plants because this product remains active in soil for up to one year. In soils with heavy clay, weed control may exceed one year. Do not use on desirable lawns. The single max use rate is 1 gal of product per 500 sq ft (equivalent to 0,007 lb diquat dibromide, 0,012 lb imazapyr, isopropylamine salt and 0,002 lb dicamba, dimethylamine salt per 500 sq ft). The maximum yearly use rate is 3 gal of product per 500 sq ft (a total of 0,021 lb diquat dibromide, 0,036 lb imazapyr, isopropylamine salt and 0,006 lb dicamba, dimethylamine salt per 500 sq ft). The maximum number of applications per year is three. The minimum reapplication interval is three months. How to Apply: 1. Measure area to be treated. 2. Calculate total area. To calculate total area: length by width = total sq ft. 3. Apply evenly to areas where no vegetation or plant growth is desired for at least 12 months. Where to Apply: Apply to the following areas: driveways, gravel areas, patios, parking areas, brick walks, gravel walks, fence lines, curbs, rock landscapes, mulch areas and cracks in sidewalks where no vegetation is desired. Storage and Disposal: Pesticide storage: Turn the nozzle to "close" position. To prevent leakage, attach sprayer to clip. Store this product only in its original container in a secure storage area away from sources of heat or open flame and in an area inaccessible to children and pets. Keep from freezing.
