When should I use this test? This test can detect HIV infection if used 3 months after a risk event. Using this test earlier than 3 months since a risk event may not produce an accurate result. This test may not detect HIV infections that have occurred within 3 months of a possible exposure. Go to https://www.cdc.gov/hiv/risk/index.html for list of risk events. Store at 36 degrees - 80 degrees F (2 degrees - 27 degrees C).
