When should I use this test? This test can detect HIV infection if used 3 months after a risk event. Using this test earlier than 3 months since a risk event may not produce an accurate result. This test may not detect HIV infections that have occurred within 3 months of a possible exposure. Go to https://www.cdc.gov/hiv/risk/index.html for list of risk events. Store at 36 degrees - 80 degrees F (2 degrees - 27 degrees C).

Warnings and Precautions: Do not use this test if you are HIV positive. Do not use this test to make decisions that may put you at increased risk for HIV. Do not use if the box seal is opened or any of the contents are opened or missing. Do not use if today is after the expiration date on the outside of the box. If you are on antiretroviral drugs (ARVs), including for HIV treatment, preexposure prophylaxis (PrEP), or post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP), you may get a false result.
