To make: 1-1/2 cups (cooked rice); Rice (cups): 1/2 cup; Water (Cups): 1-1/3 cup; Salt (teaspoons) (if desired): 1/2 tsp; Butter or margarine (if desired): 1/2 tbsp. 3-4 cups (cooked rice); Rice (cups): 1 cup; Water (Cups): 2-1/2 cup; Salt (teaspoons) (if desired): 1 tsp; Butter or margarine (if desired): 1 tbsp. 5-6 cups (cooked rice); Rice (cups): 1-1/2 cup; Water (Cups): 3-1/3 cup; Salt (teaspoons) (if desired): 1-1/2 tsp; Butter or margarine (if desired): 1-1/2 tbsp. 7-8 cups (cooked rice); Rice (cups): 2 cup; Water (Cups): 4-1/4 cup; Salt (teaspoons) (if desired): 2 tsp; Butter or margarine (if desired): 2 tbsp. 10-11 cups (cooked rice); Rice (cups): 3 cup; Water (Cups): 6 cup; Salt (teaspoons) (if desired): 1 tbsp; Butter or margarine (if desired): 3 tbsp. For softer rice use more water and simmer for a longer time. For firmer rice, use less water and simmer for a shorter time. Keep in a cool and dry place.
