Lice Infestation spreads through Human to Human Contact, we recommend that you check each member of your household. 3. Examine small sections of hair minutely to identify Nits near scalp, beginning of neck and behind the ears. 4. Once identified, apply Lice-Nil Lice & Eggs Eliminator Oil liberally on dry hair, scalp and behind the ears or other affected areas. 5. Applying on wet hair is not recommended. 6. Massage gently & leave the product on hair for a minimum of 20 minutes 7. Wash hair thoroughly with warm water and Lice-Nil shampoo after treatment. 8. Disinfect hats, hair ribbons, clothing, scarves, coats, towels, and bedlinen by machine washing in hot water 54 degrees (150 degrees F), then use the hottest dryer cycle for at least 20 minutes. Items that cannot be washed (pillows, stuffed toys etc.), should be dry cleaned or sealed in a plastic bag for 4 weeks. Pubic lice may be present on the groin, thighs, trunk, underarms and occasionally on the beard or mustache. Disinfect underwear by machine washing in hot water 54 degrees (150 degrees F), then use the highest dryer cycle for at least 20 minutes. Step 3: Body Lice: Body lice and their eggs (nits) are generally found in the seams of clothing particularly in the armpit and waistline area. Body lice feed on skin and then return to clothing to lay their eggs. Disinfect clothing by machine washing in hot water 54 degrees (150 degrees F), then use the highest dryer cycle for at least 20 minutes. Do not seal clothes in plastic bag because nits can remain dormant for up to 30 days.
