Cooking the Italian Way: 1. Bring 1 quart of water to a boil for every 3.5 oz of pasta. If desired, add 2 teaspoons of salt. 2. Add past and return to a boil. 3. To obtain al dente pasta. Boil uncovered for 8 minutes and stir occasionally. For tender pasta. Boil for an additional 1-2 minutes. 4. Remove from heat. Drain well and serve immediately.
