Directions for Preparation & Use: Your baby's health depends on carefully following the instructions below. Proper hygiene, preparation, dilution, use and storage are important when preparing infant formula. Consult your baby's physician about the need to boil clean utensils, bottles, and nipples in water before use and the appropriate use of formula for your child. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and warm water before preparing formula. Bring 1 liter of fresh water to the boil (do not use repeatedly boiled water). Let cool for 30 minutes, so it remains at least 158 degrees F. Measure the required water into a sterilized bottle. Using the scoop provided, add the correct number of levelled scoops of powder to the bottle. Use the straight edge inside the lid to level each scoop. Place on a sterilized cap and shake well to dissolve powder. Cool to room temperature by running the bottle (lid on) under cold running water. Once feeding begins, use formula within 1 hour or discard. Always test the temperature of the formula on the inside of your wrist after above cooling step. Storage: Powder may settle during shipping. Do not use formula if inner or outer seal is opened or damaged. Store open or unopened cans in a cool, dry place. Avoid excessive storage temperatures. Do not freeze powder. Once opened, tightly cover open can and use within 1 month. Packaged in a protective atmosphere. Important information on use by date, product batch, and country of origin on bottom of can. Feeding Guide: Add 1 level packed scoop of kendamil organic infant formula powder to each 1 fl oz (30 ml) of water(1). To Make: 2 fl oz bottle; Added Water(1): 2 fl oz; Added Powder(2): 2 scoops(2) (8.6 g). To Make: 4 fl oz bottle; Added Water(1): 4 fl oz; Added Powder(2): 4 scoops(2) (17.2 g). To Make: 6 fl oz bottle; Added Water(1): 6 fl oz; Added Powder(2): 6 scoops(2) (25.8 g). To Make: 8 fl oz bottle; Added Water(1): 8 fl oz; Added Powder(2): 8 scoops(2) (34.4 g). (1) Freshly boiled and cooled. (2) 1 level packed scoop = 4.3 g. Each scoop adds about 0.1 fl oz (4.3 g) to the amount of prepared formula.
