Makeup Hints: 1. Start with a clean, dry face. Apply makeup in front of a well-lit mirror. Before applying makeup to face, slip on any part of the costume that requires stretching over the head. 2. With fingertip, dot foundation color onto your face. Use contour sponge to pat makeup smooth and even. Allow to dry for a few minutes before applying other makeup colors. A thin foundation coat is usually better than a thick coat. 3. Crayons: For sharp lines and unmixed colors, apply directly to skin before applying foundation or remove foundation with a cotton swab and apply crayon color onto exposed area. For highlighting or shadowing over the foundation, you should first sharpen crayons. Apply hard edges onto foundation and soften or blend with fingertip, cotton swab or sponge. 4. Use the thin side of the brush for detail work, outlining and thin lines. Use the broad side of the brush for filling in. Brush can also be used to dot a design onto your face. When you are satisfied with the design; connect the dots. 5. Sponges: Use the black stipple sponge to press a dotted pattern of one or more makeup colors onto skin. Use the yellow contour sponge to spread makeup and then to pat it smooth and streakfree. Tooth Blackout Instructions: 1. Starting at the open end of tube, cut tube lengthwise with a scissor. Remove wax from tube. 2. Knead a small pea-sized amount of blackout until it is soft and easy to shape. 3. Flatten it out until it is a bit longer than the tooth (or teeth) you plan to cover. 4. With a clean tissue, dry tooth. Press Blackout onto front and around bottom of tooth. Blackout will stick with a small amount of pressure. To Remove: To remove tooth blackout wax, wipe off with tissue or damp wash cloth. Clean with toothbrush and your regular dentrifice. Fun world makeup comes off easily with mild soap and warm water. It is best, however, to first remove excess makeup with a moist paper towel. If any spots of makeup remain, use a facial cleansing cream.
