Directions

Gas & Electric Grills: Soak two handles of wood chips on water for 15 minutes. Drain chips and place in a Mr. Bar-B-Q Wood Chip Smoker Box (or wrap in aluminum foil, leaving the ends open for ventilation). Remove cooking grid and place directly on heat plates underneath cooking grid. Light grill per manufacturer's instructions. Using heat resistant gloves and cooking tools, replace cooking grid. When wood chips begin to smoke (about 7-10 minutes), you are ready to cook! Charcoal Grills: Soak two handfuls of wood chips in water for 15 minutes. Remove cooking grid. Light per charcoal manufacturer's instructions. When charcoal is ashed over, drain and scatter over hot coals. Chips will begin to smoke immediately. Using heat resistant gloves and cooking tools, replace cooking grid and start grilling!
