Keep frozen. Cooking instructions: Original recipe cooking method. Pan fry method: preheat 1/2 inch of vegetable oil (aprox. 1 cup) in a medium size skillet over medium heat. Once oil begins to ripple, place frozen Tequenos into skillet (aprox. 7 to 8 at a time), and cook for 3 to 4 minutes, or until golden brown on both sides. Remove the Tequenos from the skillet using a slotted spoon, drain on absorbent paper, and let stand for 3 minutes before serving. Deep fry method: preheat oil to 350 degrees F. Fry frozen Tequenos for 3 to 4 minutes. Drain on absorbent paper, and let stand for 3 minutes before serving. Precautions: Do not leave pan unattended while heating. Add frozen Tequenos to hot oil carefully as ice crystals on frozen food can cause oil to splatter.
