Product Details

Parchment bread with rosemary. Added olive oil. Produced and packed in an artisan laboratory. Sardinian Parchment di Pane it's a flatbread made with only three ingredients. The culinary use since centuries of this Mediterranean bread its crucial and central for the longevity diet of this island, accompanies the most typical food such as pecorino cheese, suckling pig, and the red wine cannonau. Parchment or Carta di musica (music bread) comes for the word Carasau or Carasare which means to toast it in their dialect. Thanks to the long life of this bread, was used since the bronze age by the shepherds, where they were gone for weeks and sometime months with their sheep around the island to feed them.
